Managing Consultant:
David J. Dingli M.Phil (Maastricht); MBA (Brunel); B.Elec.Eng.(Hons.).
David graduated from the University of Malta as an electrical engineer in 1986. In 1996 he graduated MBA from the Henley Management College, UK. He is also a registered ISO9000 internal quality auditor. He is currently reading for his DBA through Maastricht School of Management and researching on ‘Manufacturing Competence and its Impact on Business Performance and Competitiveness’. In June 2006 he was awarded the Master of Philosophy degree (M.Phil).
Prior to launching his private practice, David worked as the Secretary General of The Malta Institute of Management. During this time he introduced new educational and training programs in Malta and delivered various in-house training programs to the Institute’s corporate members. Prior to that, he worked as an Industrial Engineer with Medwear Clothing Ltd, a German owned clothing manufacturing concern in Malta.
He is also an Assistant Professor with Maastricht School of Management, The Netherlands and lectures at MBA level in: Operations Management, Quantitative Techniques, Strategic Management, Strategic Design for Manufacturing and Service Organizations, Entrepreneurship and International Business.
His international experience extends over 23 countries, these being: Malta, The Netherlands, Egypt, Kuwait, Poland, Kazakhstan, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Namibia, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Rwanda, Malawi, Zimbabwe, The P.R. of China, Mongolia, Libya, Bangladesh, Suriname and Singapore.
He has conducted various in-house training programs for corporate clients in areas such as: Strategic Management, Operations Management, Time Management, Work Study, Quality Management, Project Management, Inventory Management, Teambuilding, Customer Care (service Quality) and Management Skills and recently has also been involved in Innovation Management workshops. His audience ranges from senior to middle management levels.
Today, his consulting work includes: Strategic Business Planning, Efficiency improvement through method study, process planning, work measurement and quality management programs.
